The Mega Charizard Y Poncho-wearing Pikachu Special Box was one of two special boxes were made available from January 1, 2016. The box includes a number of items featuring Pikachu wearing ponchos resembling several Mega Evolved Pokémon, the most prominent of which is Mega Charizard Y. Each box comes packaged with 2 Pikachu promotional cards (1 Holofoil reprint and 1 exclusive Full Art card), a set of 62 card sleeves, a deck case, a long card box for storage, 2 Rage of the Broken Heavens booster packs, 1 Emerald Break booster pack, 1 Phantom Gate booster pack, and 1 Rising Fist booster pack.

In each box you'll find:

• 1 Poncho Pikachu Mega Charizard X Holofoil promotional card
• 1 Pikachu Holofoil promotional card
• 1 Rising Fist booster pack
• 1 Phantom Gate booster pack
• 1 Emerald Break booster pack
• 2 Rage of the Broken Heavens booster pack
• 1 Poncho Pikachu Mega Charizard X deck case
• 1 Set of 62 Poncho Pikachu Mega Charizard X deck sleeve protectors
• 1 Long cardboard storage box

(Each booster pack contains 10 randomly inserted game cards.)
